A Gnutella Webcache is a page on a webserver that stores IP addresses of Gnutella nodes. Gnutella clients periodically update the webcaches to keep the list of IP addresses current. Using a webcache to connect to the Gnutella network will provide you with a faster and more reliable connection to the Gnutella network.

We run a Gnutella Webcache at http://gwebcache.spearforensics.com. This webcache is the default webcache in Forensic P2P, but additional webcaches may be added.
